Frantic, Part Two: Vice

tumble home for an overdose
my most unfathomably irreconcilable vice
comatose; revive and roll the dice
every place looks like the destination
contamination…detour… snake eyes.
for love, i care to heal!
reciprocate the appreciation
i'm no more than achilles
you know where to aim
forget about it!
let's smile now

Frantic, Part One: Fuck!

sweaty model of a man
so enveloped by femininity
without a woman
doubts, amnesia, castration
inebriation, the ease
now! the thing about poison
is that it kills you

Ghost

courting a ghost
lazarus has too good a memory;
love is hip shaking in ecstasy
love is a birdsong on my lap
love is a leather jacket and disregard
love is an unbearable sunday morning
salsa, salsa, salami, arroz
jorge the stripper does nothing but adore you!
arrogant adonis determinist
nobody knows as much as you do
shut up! obesity is the issue at hand
i am a man
above logic, beyond me
handsome and a handful
equilibrium calls for consistency!
there's nonesuch for lovers
but you're alive again
contorting your host

Max and Malcom

faux knock bang rhythm
inverse acoustic class
observatory accountant scrolling his rewards
grease and unsettlement
alka seltzer philosophy --
outcasted by precise composition
broadway is no place for a scoundrel
and what's in a name?

Fool

a fool could feel love without thought in the night
your voice slips in my ear; i'm calm and excited
your pulse is pulsating so that i'm ignited
you twisted me up, but i tried, and i tried
and i tried, and i tried, and i tried, and i tried

your ink strokes my mind when the moon steals the day
a knot in the threads of romance could be fatal
a butterfly dancing can cause a tornado
you're kissing my cynical lips like i prayed
and i prayed, and i prayed, and i prayed, and i prayed

No Dance In New York

no dance in new york
devil in my left foot step
right, back
train tracks
slipping; angry, too fast
but i'm quick with a slick hip
crack in my brain -- no refrain
the insane are insane
and the veins, and the sweet blood
of jesus christ poured the pain
mary, joseph, the rain!
…couldn't keep me from your poison
i'd pull an oak tree out of the ground
if even weeds would poke their heads
if even me had a choice in the matter
if even me would dare to paint
without fear for all the splatter
i can only make a mess

LINE BREAK/Whiskey Sour

So, it turns out I was a ponce bitch when I was last operating this blog. I've moved along to Tumblr for the sillier thoughts; this will now be the webspace for my shitty poetry. Read it if you'd like.

Positive or negative, however, feedback is encouraged. I'm not looking to be praised, I just adore attention...in any light!

Hee-hee-ho-ha-hey!

"Whiskey Sour"

you've twisted up both my time and my space;
mixed my whiskey sour and laced it
with honey too sweet for the bowels of a beat

i'm not softened this often,
wheezing and coughing --
i'm lying of course
and if i am dying
leave me to rest with your soul
in my coffin

in bliss and in grace
